The second game of the day for Coast FA U12 Boys Black. Field conditions and size had an effect on the flow of the game. A short field with full size goals on a very dry surface caused for some end to end action. Discoveries had a height advantage from high bouncing balls and played an aggressive offside trap. #6 with the left foot was MVP for the "Greens". Discoveries took the lead in the first half. Coast FA struggled to get into a rhythm, but had patches of passing combinations. Space behind the Discoveries defensive line was only captilaized on one occasion, resulting in a through ball goal by Caswell. The game continued to go back and forth. Asllanaj found open space at the start of the second half on the left flank and floated the ball off the cross-bar for Cuomo to follow-up with the tap in. Discoveries began to impose themselves more and scored two goals. Coast FA battled for the last five minutes. Wylie had some good possession on the right and caused some problems, but no one could get on the end of anything. In the dying minutes, a storming run through the middle of the park by Caswell, who broke loose from a couple of defenders, pushed the ball into space and beat the approaching goalkeeper to stab the ball home for the game equalizer.
